Ammad Bakari an amazing blend of progressive and hardcore punk that feels true to both genres. imagine Yes's Close To The Edge written by a hardcore band Favorite track: Year of the Dragon.

Azazel ♒ 7293 Fucks with every progressive/epic/heavy metal release ever since the early 80's and gives them the dry humping through alternative/psychedelic/hardcore punk treatement. Damn! Favorite track: Year of the Dragon.
Walker Grooms

Walker Grooms This is the heaviest thing they've done: it's cool to hear the Integrity and early Metallica influences come through so vividly, even as they get more "out there" and experimental as a band, in some ways. Favorite track: Year of the Dragon.
Joshua Kutras

Joshua Kutras 18+ minute epic that borders on metal at points. Fucked Up continues to show the world that punk fucking rock doesn't need a costume or rules to play by. Cheers to TankCrimes for this stellar release! Favorite track: Year of the Dragon.

We’ve made heroes out of men who should die. Conflagration is burning, the geyser is churning. Violators of the contract or life through malice intent or reckless neglect. Yet this is who we deify. It feeds our belief as it sucks us beneath. So bring on all this strife, and once we are below, there’s nowhere left to go. What if when we get there, there’s no boatman, and no light by which to see? See where we came, came to this place, the place that has become out reality. This is all there is, and all there is now is time enough to think, think or wrongs done and rights undone, and now it all begins to set in. This is all there is, this is it. This is all I can do to find a way to make it through this world of shit. This is the culture we brought, a sick society reflecting what it sees, screaming with the pitchfork in hand. A mob state wins every time, but it’s all so overwrought. Scripted moves, we follow the cues. So bring on all the strife, there is nowhere to go when you’re down below. In the ground, we all go in the ground. All the evil on top lives. Enter the crucified, sanctimonious fucks, our lifeblood they suck. Devourers of the soul, pain from the teeth of mythical beasts. United and vilified, shield our face while they exterminate. Seen through the stomata hole, there’s nowhere to go, our feet are nailed to the floor. What if when we get there, there’s no boatman, and no light by which to see? See where we came, came to this place, the place that has become our reality. This is all there is, and all there is now is time to think, think of wrongs done and rights undone, and now it all begins to set in, this is all there is, this is it. This is all I can do to find a way to make it through this world of shit. We live with broken morals, we rest on fractured laurels. We don’t believe in anything. To hell with the pain it brings, we’re raised by the ties that bind, propped up by the hands of time. If nothing we see is real, why is pain all I feel? “Hold on for one more day, cling to what you need to live, fix your wings” and other cliches. What advantage would that vantage give? We’ve drained the moral well, a shout goes up as they yell, “There’s no heaven and there’s no hell”.
